The Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomes the statement adopted by the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation regarding the inadmissibility of any destructive moves from the neighboring states against Pridnestrovie and the need for measures to support Russian citizens and Russian compatriots living in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
The mentioned document has once again confirmed the significant role of the Russian Federation as a guarantor country and mediator in the Moldovan-Pridnestrovian settlement.
We expect the international negotiation process to return to a constructive working channel, in which its participants will abide by the Negotiating Principles and Procedures while abandoning the sanctions and blockade policy against Pridnestrovie.
