Vadim Krasnoselsky Met with the British Ambassador

The site of the PMR’s President Administration hosted the meeting of Vadim Krasnoselsky with Stephen Fisher, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Her Majesty The Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR, Vitaly Ignatiev and the British Defense Attaché, Rob Hall attended the working visit as well.

Welcoming the guests, Vadim Krasnoselsky noted Great Britain’s activity in bilateral relations between the states and its systemic interest in the negotiation process between Pridnestrovie and Moldova. The Pridnestrovian Head of State emphasized the importance of a direct open dialogue and indicated his readiness for it. In his turn, Stephen Fisher expressed gratitude for the opportunity to get answers to their questions from the first person of the state.

Interlocutors discussed in detail a wide range of topical issues of mutual interest. It was about economy, the "5 + 2" format work, social policy and prospects for joint humanitarian projects implementation. The pandemic and its impact on all spheres of society's life did not go unnoticed. During the discussion, parties touched as well upon issues of ensuring country's security. Security is Defense Attaché’s specialization, therefore, having a conversation with the Commander-in-Chief of the PMR Armed Forces was of a particular value for the British guest.

Ending the discussion, interlocutors agreed to continue ordinary working contacts.
