Today, the Foreign Ministry hosted a meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev and the Head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova Klaus Neukirch.
Within the dialogue framework, participants discussed the current situation in the negotiation process and made a special emphasis on interaction in the road transport sector problems. The Pridnestrovian side emphasized it is inadmissible introducing any prohibitive measures in relation to vehicles possessing Pridnestrovian license plates, and stated as well the need for an early progress within resolving problematic aspects that impede VRO’s effective functioning.
Vitaly Ignatiev recalled the draft Protocol Decision (that Pridnestrovie has earlier sent) on registering cargo-passenger carriers’ vehicles in the VRO and the need to resolve this pressing issue.
Along with, some other aspects of the Berlin + package, including banking issues were touched upon.
