The Foreign Ministry hosted a meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev with the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Abkhazia in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Alexander Vataman.
Welcoming the guest, Vitaly Ignatiev emphasized the traditionally high intensity of bilateral interaction. “This fully meets the goals and objectives that we set in the context of Pridnestrovian-Abkhaz relations development. I am confident that this year, joint work in all areas including the activities of our missions will be active and will acquire new practical content,” the Pridnestrovian Foreign Minister noted.
During the conversation, the diplomats exchanged views on a number of topical aspects within the framework of cooperation between Pridnestrovie and Abkhazia development and discussed as well promising areas of this year’s cooperation. In this context, the interlocutors paid attention to interdepartmental contacts development and to a number of joint projects in the social and humanitarian sphere implementation.
Ending the meeting, diplomats agreed to continue a regular working communication aimed at discussing the entire range of issues of mutual interest.
