Vitaly Ignatiev Met with Andrey Muravyov the Head of Rossotrudnichestvo Office in the Republic of Moldova

The PMR’s Foreign Ministry hosted the meeting of Pridnestrovian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Vitaly Ignatiev and the Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo Office in the Republic of Moldova, Andrey Muravyov. Assistant to the PMR’s President, Vitaly Bondar and Deputy Foreign Minister of the PMR, Alexander Stetsiuk attended the meeting as well.

Welcoming the guest, Vitaly Ignatiev congratulated the Russian diplomat on his appointment and noted the extensive experience gained within interaction between Pridnestrovie and Rossotrudnichestvo. “We would very much like this cooperation to be even more active, intense and ultimately effective, so that it receives a qualitatively new impetus and development. All this, because there are no limits for improvement in this area,” the Minister stressed.

During the conversation, parties exchanged views on the prospects for further bilateral cooperation. In this context, Vitaly Ignatiev voiced a number of Pridnestrovian side’s proposals aimed at intensifying social, humanitarian and cultural interaction, bearing an emphasis on joint projects and initiatives implementation. The Head of the Foreign Ministry expressed as well the opinion that today, there is a potential for expanding Rossotrudnichestvo’s activities in Pridnestrovie. Within this framework it would be possible implementing additional practical measures to support Russian citizens and compatriots living in the PMR.

Ending the meeting, diplomats agreed to maintain a regular working communication on the entire range of mutual interest issues.
