The Pridnestrovian President Met with Russian Parliamentarians

Today, at the Official Representation of Pridnestrovie in Moscow, the Pridnestrovian President met with deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation. Vadim Krasnoselsky's interlocutors were Artem Turov, Sergey Chizhov and Umakhan Umakhanov. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev and the head of the Pridnestrovian Representation in the Russian capital Leonid Manakov attended the working conversation as well.

The discussion touched upon such issues as: provision to Russian compatriots living in Pridnestrovie with diversified social and humanitarian support; mechanism for granting Pridnestrovians Russian citizenship simplification; consular services optimization; possibility to use maternity capital and medical insurance on the territory of the PMR. Interlocutors exchanged views on the current situation around Pridnestrovie. At the same time, the most important stabilizing role of the peacekeeping operation on the Dniester was emphasized. The parties substantively discussed interaction parameters for the coming year, outlined plans and ways of their implementation.
