Vitaly Ignatiev Held Talks with Artsakh Foreign Minister Masis Mayilyan

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev held talks with the head of the Foreign Ministry of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Masis Mayilyan through videoconferencing.

During the conversation, Vitaly Ignatiev noted that Pridnestrovie is watching with concern the growing tension on the border of Armenia with Azerbaijan, expressing the words of support and empathy for the Armenian people in this regard.

As a follow-up to the discussion, the diplomats addressed a number of pressing aspects of Pridnestrovie -Artsakh bilateral relations, including prospects and plans for inter-ministerial cooperation, and the general regional situation around the republics. Special attention was paid to several technicalities in implementing the previously concluded intergovernmental agreement on the mutual Trade Missions establishment.

The interlocutors also exchanged views and current data on efforts in containing a novel coronavirus infection in the two republics.

Taking the opportunity, Vitaly Ignatiev congratulated Masis Mayilyan and the entire team of the Foreign Ministry of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic on the anniversary of the Foreign Ministry’s foundation.

In concluding the conversation, the diplomats agreed to continue regular working contacts across the entire spectrum of relevant areas of cooperation.
