The Pridnestrovian Foreign Ministry held a video format working consultation with the Republic of South Ossetia. The foreign ministers Vitaly Ignatiev and Dmitry Medoev and the heads of diplomatic missions of the two states Alan Pliev and Vitaly Yankovsky attended the consultation as well.
During the conversation took place a thorough discussion of topical issues of bilateral agenda between Pridnestrovie and South Ossetia and of Pridnestrovian-South Ossetian cooperation promising areas. In this context, Vitaly Ignatiev and Dmitry Medoev agreed there is a need to intensify intersectoral contacts online.
Following the discussion, diplomats made sure they were on the same page and agreed on a series of joint actions taking into account the upcoming anniversary events.
As part of communication, the Foreign Minister of South Ossetia separately thanked the Pridnestrovian Foreign Ministry for arranging the commemorative event dedicated to the centenary of the Ossetian genocide and congratulated Pridnestrovian diplomats on the upcoming Pridnestrovian Foreign Ministry establishment anniversary.
Ending the meeting, diplomats agreed to continue regular working communication across the entire spectrum of relevant areas.
