Today, the working meeting of Deputy Chairperson of the Government for International Cooperation of the PMR, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Nina Shtanski with the Head of the Representative Office of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic to the Republic of South Ossetia Egor Kochiev took place at the Foreign Ministry of the PMR.
The meeting discussed current bilateral relations in Pridnestrovie and South Ossetia, relevant prospects of cooperation in various spheres. Particular attention was paid to determining operation of the Representative Office of the PMR to the Republic of South Ossetia. During the conversation, Nina Shtanski expressed the need to focus on the interaction between Pridnestrovie and South Ossetia in the spheres of information, as well as trade and economic relations.
Today, the new head of the Representative Office of the PMR to the Republic of South Ossetia was introduced to officials of the Foreign Ministry of the PMR. Addressing the diplomats, Egor Kochiev expressed willingness to contribute fully to the strengthening and development of bilateral cooperation between Pridnestrovie and South Ossetia in the best interests of the fraternal republics. The Official Representative of Pridnestrovie stressed that he enlisted support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia willing to render any assistance to the Representative Office.
The new Representative of the PMR to South Ossetia has a long experience of public activity, 21 years of employment at the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of South Ossetia as the Head of Communication Department. He was given the superior national award of South Ossetia – the Order of Honour.
