Today, the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the PMR for International Cooperation, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Nina Shtanski congratulated the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation on Pridnestrovie Dmitry Rogozin on the 22nd anniversary of bringing the Russian peacekeeping forces in Pridnestrovie. It is said in the welcoming address, that the tragic events befell on the Pridnestrovian land will forever remain an open wound in the historical memory of the Pridnestrovian people, who survived the armed aggression by the Republic of Moldova in 1992. "It has managed to stop bloodshed only thanks to the peacekeeping forces of the Russian Federation, whose appearance on the Pridnestrovian land marked the establishment of peace", - states in the note. "For the Pridnestrovian people, the peacekeeping forces of the Russian Federation are by right the symbol of stability, physical safety, security and prosperity. The peacekeeping mechanism operating in Pridnestrovie is recognized as the most effective in the post-Soviet space. This has been made possible thanks largely to the selfless service of soldiers and officers of the peacekeeping forces of the RF and strong determination of Russia to avoid changing the format of the peacekeeping operation, "- said the head of the Foreign Ministry of Pridnestrovie.
