The President of Pridnestrovie Yevgeny Shevchuk hosted Sergey Pirozhkov, Ambassador Extraordinary & Plenipotentiary of Ukraine in the Republic of Moldova. The key point of the meeting were arrangements to the regular 5+2 negotiation round which is scheduled for the end of May in Odessa. It will be still focused on socio-economic issues. “We agreed that negotiations should continue, in spite of some political difficulties in the Republic of Moldova related to the resignation of the Government,” said Ambassador Extraordinary & Plenipotentiary of Ukraine answering journalists' questions.
Yevgeny Shevchuk and Sergey Pirozhkov discussed also issues of support to Ukrainian nationals residing within our Republic.
Situation in the Security Zone was also broached in the meeting.
