During the meeting of the representatives on political issues, the sides touched upon the most pointed questions in the field of education, including authentication of documents issued by the educational institutions of Pridnestrovie, as well as regulation of the activities of Romanian schools in Pridnestrovie.
As a result of discussions Nina Shtanski and Yevgeny Karpov agreed to hold a next joint meeting on the second decade of August this year with the participation of the heads and experts of relevant groups on education to finalize the draft documents, which can become the basis for productive discussions at the next meeting of the Permanent Conference in the "5 +2" format. Along with this, the upcoming meeting will be attended by specialists in finance and taxation with a view to agreeing on a mutually acceptable taxation formula for Romanian schools employees, working in Pridnestrovie and currently paying taxes to the budget of the Republic of Moldova.
Besides, according to the political representatives, expert (working) groups on education should hold rather intense discussions in July and August this year and work closely with the European experts, who will arrive in Tiraspol on July 10 to make recommendations on the issue of legalization of diplomas, as well as to make joint efforts for substantive filling of the draft regulation for functioning of Romanian schools in Pridnestrovie.
