On October 4, 2013, office of the OSCE Mission in Kishinev hosted a regular meeting of expert (working) groups on issues of crime control.
In accordance with instructions fixed in the minute of the meeting of Political Representatives from the Republic of Moldova and Pridnestrovie, experts of the sides carried out mutual exchange of information about officials and staff members of internal affairs in relation to which law-enforcement bodies of the Republic of Moldova and the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic have pending criminal proceedings.
Along with this, the sides discussed preliminary parameters of further interaction that will allow them to proceed to concrete practical actions and preparation of proposals for Political Representatives about possible mechanisms of resolving the situation with above criminal cases.
Also in the course of the meeting experts discussed issues of documentation of agreements reached at previous meetings, and exchanged draft minutes of the meetings to be submitted to heads of groups for signature after appropriate finalization.
