We remind that the sides reached the agreement on dismantling of emergency site during the meeting of the Permanent Conference in Odessa on May 23-24, 2013 that was fixed in the relevant Protocol decision.
Within the framework of the meeting Nina Shtanski informed the Moldovan colleague that the Pridnestrovian side completed all technical and organizational procedures last summer. Yevgeny Karpov, in his turn, pointed out that the Moldovan side, for its part, also resolved all technical matters raised before.
In the words of the political representative of the RM, the issue on the flight of the helicopter of the Russia's Ministry of Emergency Situations (needed to carry out the works) through the airspace of Ukraine still remains the only problematic aspect. According to him, the notes requesting to provide such guarantees were sent to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine by the Foreign Ministries of Russia and Moldova, however, no response has been provided.
The Pridnestrovian and Moldovan sides affirmed that there were no any obstacles to start the works, and expressed the readiness to consider the issue on presenting proposals regarding the other ways for flying line of the helicopter in order to launch the works on dismantling of the cableway. According to available information, such works could be finished in August – September a.c. Otherwise, dismantling of the emergency site will have to be postponed until the next year due to technological advances and weather conditions.
At today's bilateral meeting in Kishinev the political representatives of Pridnestrovie and Moldova touched upon an issue related to dismantling of cargo aerial ropeway (funicular) in Rybnitsa and Rezina.
