In the course of today's meeting of political representatives of Pridnestrovie and Moldova, the Moldovan side declared about establishment of working group under Ministry of Finance of the RM tasked to elaborate proposals on introduction of amendments in legislation of the Republic of Moldova to eliminate contradictions connected with carrying out of foreign economic activity by Pridnestrovian economic agents. According to information provided by the Moldovan side, this group will be composed of representatives of customs and tax bodies of the Republic of Moldova and is designed to find the “systemic solution of problems”.
Political representative of Pridnestrovie Nina Shtanski welcomed this step of the Moldovan colleagues in the negotiation process. At the same time, she expressed the need to intensify work connected with resolution of problems faced by economic agents of Pridnestrovie, in the framework of the relevant expert group as well.
In this regard, Nina Shtanski reminded that during September round of negotiations in Vienna the Pridnestrovian side made a report about problems Pridnestrovian economic agents are confronted with. At that time, a decision was made to continue consideration of foreign economic issues within expert groups. “Restrictions for Pridnestrovian enterprises existing up to this moment in the field of foreign economic activity don't correspond to the constructive spirit of the dialogue which has been successfully developing throughout this year,” Nina Shtanski told then. She stressed that Pridnestrovian side expects responses of the Moldovan side to the information and proposals provided earlier by the Pridnestrovian delegation.
