On November 13, 2011, delegation of the Pridnestrovien Moldavian Republic involved in the monitoring of the presidential elections and referendum on granting Russian official language status was received by President of the Republic of South Ossetia Eduard Kokoity.
Issues connected with the course of elections, as well as further development of friendly interaction between Pridnestrovie and South Ossetia were discussed at the meeting.
In the course of the meeting, President of the RSO Eduard Kokoity highly appreciated the level of cooperation which has established between the two states. According to the President, participation of international observers of the PMR in the monitoring of the ongoing electoral procedures has become clear evidence of this.
