Working dialogue of the President of the PMR Vadim Krasnoselsky with Special Representative of the President of the RF Dmitry Kozak continues

Russian delegation headed by Deputy Chairman of the Government of the RF, Special Representative of the President of Russia on development of trade and economic relations with Moldova Dmitry Kozak again visited Pridnestrovie. He was accompanied by Minister of Agriculture of the RF Dmitry Patrushev, State Secretary, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the RF Grigory Karasin and other officials – representatives of Russian Ministry of Agriculture and Ministry of Finance. The meeting between Vadim Krasnoselsky and Dmitry Kozak in Bender is their second meeting on the territory of Pridnestrovie. Earlier interlocutors repeatedly met on the premises of Russian Government.

It is a working visit of Russian delegation. The visit is aimed at continuation of the discussion of topical issues from the agenda of interaction between Pridnestrovie and Russia, issues connected with the activity of 5+2 format, which started at the beginning of the current month. For example, peacekeeping was one of the points of discussion: it was marked, that the operation which proved its efficiency during a little less than three decades must be continued in existing form. During the meeting the fact that combination of activity of Russian, Pridnestrovian and Moldovan peacekeeping forces forms unique and efficient mechanism was emphasized. The activity in regime of permanent conference of expert (working) groups was also discussed. The interlocutors came to the same opinion, that their work should be continued notwithstanding internal political situation. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized: “The agreements reached before should be fulfilled by both sides. Many issues of negotiation agenda are still urgent and must be resolved without delay.”

The economy is among the most discussed topics today. The attention was paid to export of Pridnestrovian goods to Russian market. The delivery of Pridnestrovian agricultural goods to Russian regions is the issue of particular significance at the moment.

After the completion of official part of the meeting its participants visited one of Pridnestrovian enterprises – LLP Aquatir. The unique enterprises where sturgeons are grown was shown to the guests. Dmitry Kozak and his colleagues was told, that today Aquatir produces more than 100 positions in full-cycle production complex.
