At the same time he told, that Russian citizens living in Pridnestrovie and Pridnestrovian people on the whole advocated the preservation of the presence of Russian group of troops on the banks of the Dniester. “If someone tries to withdraw Russian troops from Pridnestrovie due to some unintelligible circumstances, Pridnestrovian and Russian peacekeepers who will stand for the interests of their States will remain in the Security Zone,” Yevgeny Shevchuk emphasized.
