Today, Pridnestrovian Foreign Ministry hosted the meeting of Deputy Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev with Bob Dean, Senior Adviser to the OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on tendencies in the field of education, and discussed also the overall context of the forthcoming meeting of the Experts (Working) Groups on Education, which will be held today at the Tiraspol Office of the OSCE Mission.
Pridnestrovian side once again reaffirmed its willingness to find mutually beneficial solutions subject to the requirements of the legislation of the PMR.
Bob Dean informed that the visit of the newly appointed OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities Astrid Thors is planned in mid-November of this year. Pridnestrovian diplomats expressed hope that the visit would contribute to the development of constructive cooperation while addressing issues in this area.
