On October 14, 2010, PMR's Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Yastrebchak took part in the opening ceremony of the memorial signs in commemoration of the Hungarian war prisoners and civilians who fell victims in the World War II.

Participating in the event were also Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Hungary Gyorgy Varga, PMR's Minister of Interior Vadim Krasnoselskiy, as well as representatives of the Hungarian Ministry of Defense.
