The Charity Auction of Paintings of the Pridnestrovian Artists was held today in the framework of the III Investment Forum of Pridnestrovie. The event was attended by President of Pridnestrovie Yevgeny Shevchuk, Chairperson of the Government of the PMR Petr Stepanov, Deputy Chairperson of the Government of the PMR for International Cooperation, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Nina Shtanski, heads of ministries and institutions of the Republic, representatives of diplomatic missions and international organizations.
Thirty two lots were placed on auction which included pieces of art of famous and emerging artists of Pridnestrovie. Nina Shtanski took an active part in the tender and bought three paintings.
All participants were united by a single goal – to render assistance to those who need it. Following the results of the charity auction, about 4000 US dollars were raised. All the funds derived from the sale of paintings will be used to support children in need of state care.
