Today, a coordination meeting dedicated to issues of stepping up the work of expert groups of the Pridnestrovien Moldavian Republic on socio-economic collaboration with the Republic of Moldova took place in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR. The meeting was conducted by Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Nina Shtanski and Deputy Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev.
In the course of the meeting it was pointed out that on March 6 the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR would see a range of meetings with the participation of representatives of the ministries and departments which expert groups of Pridnestrovie are composed of.
As the Minister of Foreign Affairs told, these meetings would analyze previous years' experience of the work of expert/working groups of Pridnestrovie and Moldova and examine existing results. Apart from that, Nina Shtanski marked that participants from Pridnestrovie plan to work out conceptually new proposals to step up collaboration with Moldova at expert level. “We have to intensify this process as much as possible since only active work at expert level will enable it for us to achieve progress at higher platforms,” the diplomat stated.
Nina Shtanski informed the diplomats of the fact that during consultations in the 5+2 format which took place on February 28-29, in Dublin, the Pridnestrovien side handed its proposals “On coordination of expert work of the sides as a practical instrument of the work in the Permanent Conference…” to the participants of the meeting. Also, information by the Pridnestrovien side “On priority working areas of expert (working) groups” was heard in Dublin.
The Pridnestrovien side is deliberate to promote solution of socio-economic problems in the framework of the Permanent Conference.
