The Foreign Ministry opened an exhibition of Vladimir Shuma, coinciding with the anniversary of the artist

Today, the MFA of the PMR opened an exhibition of Pridnestrovian artist Vladimir Shuma. The exhibition is coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the artist. The event was attended by the Head of the State Service for Culture of the PMR Maria Kyrmyz, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Igor Shornikov, as well as representatives of the creative community of Pridnestrovie.

Opening the exhibition, Igor Shornikov voiced congratulations of Foreign Minister of the PMR Nina Shtanski to the artist. The Head of the Foreign Ministry noted in her message that being one of the most respected and experienced professionals in the field of fine arts, talented and enthusiastic artist,  he dedicated many years to the development and enrichment of the cultural heritage of  Pridnestrovie. “At least, thanks to your sense of purpose between the creative community of Pridnestrovie and the Foreign Ministry warm friendships were formed that allow you to work together towards building a positive image of the country,” – emphasized the Diplomat in her address.

Maria Kyrmyz, in her turn, noted that due to the works of the artist the beautiful nature of Pridnestrovie in all its colors will remain in history. “The exhibition of works by Vladimir Shuma always gives pleasure, it is always kind and radiant. When watching it, you always feel the light mood of the artist. We note with the eyes of the artist what we sometimes do not notice in everyday life,” – she said.

Vladimir Shuma expressed his gratitude to those present for warm words and said that his paintings which were exhibited on a permanent basis in the walls of the Foreign Ministry of the PMR, eloquently speak of the friendliness and openness of Pridnestrovie.  According to the artist, in the Foreign Ministry of the PMR his paintings really “work”, leaving a trail in the heart of foreign guests of the republic.

The anniversary exhibition of the artist will be on display at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs during the month.
