Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Nina Shtanski sent greeting address to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia with congratulations on the occasion of the Day of Formation of the foreign political agency of the Republic. It is said in the address:
“Diplomatic service of the State was created in times of war and different blockades. An attempt to make true information on the events in the country to be heard, to seek for support and understanding of other States were the primary goals of the newly-created foreign political agency.
Today Abkhazia, being a recognized State, is successfully moving towards building democratic State ruled by law by bringing about the right of the people of the republic on better life on the international arena. It is a great achievement of the diplomatic officers of Abkhazia.
Recognition of Abkhazia by the Russian Federation, necessity of further strengthening the international position of the State, of extending foreign political relations creates broad field for activity and talent of Abkhazian diplomats.
I am sure that shared foreign political priorities established between the diplomatic bodies of Pridnestrovie and Abkhazia, close and friendly ties shall promote development of both countries in future”.
