The Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Yastrebchak congratulated the MFA's collective on the foremost holiday of the Republic and noted that in the previous year the Foreign Department carried out significant work in protecting Pridnestrovian interests abroad. According to the Minister, that work was successful in many aspects thanks to the efforts and everyday labor of all workers of the MFA. Vladimir Yastrebchak also stated that the forthcoming anniversary year in the history of the Republic is likely to be no less busy and rich in events. “The situation in the sphere of international law is gradually transforming, new realities are arising and under the circumstances it is the collective of our department who is entrusted the task of facilitating and seeking international recognition of our state,” stressed the diplomat.
During the solemn meeting, a number of officials of the Ministry were honored with government awards.
