Political Representative of Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova Held Working Consultation

Today within the framework of the dialogue between the Pridnestrovian and the Moldovan sides in Kishinev a working consultation of political representatives of Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova Nina Shtanski and Yevgeny Karpov was held. Diplomats discussed a wide a range of issues including the problems of interaction in banking sphere, in the sphere of education, passenger railroad and motor transport communication and the problem of movement of cars with Pridnestrovian plates. Separate attention was paid to the topic of provision of freedom of movement through the bridge near villages Bychok and Gura-Bykuluy. “There is a number of propositions of Moldovan, Pridnestrovian and international actors. Besides, the representatives of the OSCE and the European Union made a set of propositions. Today these documents were thoroughly considered,” Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pridnestrovie Nina Shtanski commented.



According to the head of the PMR's MFA, a new meeting of working groups aiming to discuss the groundworks elaborated today is planned on next week. “We have the assurances of the Moldovan side that in the nearest future many of the issues that were touched upon will find their solution and the agreements will be realized,” Nina Shtanski made a conclusion.



Let us remind that the meeting between the President of Pridnestrovie Yevgeny Shevchuk and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova Vladimir Filat was held today in Kishinev. The meeting resulted in signing of additional Protocol on the extension of the term of the Protocol Decision On the Principles of the Resumption of Full-fledged Railroad Communication  through the territory of Pridnestrovie signed on March 30, 2012 for a further 12 month.
