Today, the OSCE Mission Office in Kishinev hosted a regular meeting of expert (working) groups on the development of transport and road facilities from Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova.
During the meeting the sides continued discussions on participation of vehicles registered in Pridnestrovie in international traffic.
In addition, they touched upon problems of Pridnestrovian enterprises in transportation of goods from the Republic of Moldova in Pridnestrovie, as well as some issues of taxi services functioning in the territories of the parties.
Special attention was paid to the interaction of Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova on civil liability insurance. Representatives of the parties noted efficiency and absence of problems in the implementation of the Protocol Decision “On the mechanism of cooperation of insurance entities of the Republic of Moldova and Pridnestrovie under the civil liability insurance contracts” dated 10 April 2015 and the Framework Mechanism of cooperation between insurance entities of the Republic of Moldova and Pridnestrovie on contracts of compulsory civil liability insurance of owners of motor vehicles dated 8 May 2015. The sides confirmed possibility to add other Pridnestrovian and Moldovan insurance companies to this Framework Mechanism.
