Meeting in Transdniestrian Foreign Ministry with the Delegation of the Council of Europe

  On September 13, 2010, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Pridnestrovien Moldavian Republic hosted the meeting between the Deputies Foreign Minister, Sergey Simonenko and Alexander Malyarchuk, with the delegation of the Council of Europe headed by the project coordinator of the CoE, Owen Masters.
  The meeting was of working character and was regarded as the next step in aligning positions of the sides in the framework of implementing programs carried out under the auspices of the Council of Europe.
  In particular, the European representatives informed the Transdniestrian diplomats about the current situation around the programs of interaction in the Higher Education and media component, as well as in the field of civil society.
  The interlocutors marked the positive dynamics in the development of these projects, free from any political implications and aimed at sharing experience and learning about contemporary European practices in socially important spheres.
  The sides agreed to continue active cooperation in the given sphere.
