Today, on April 29, 2016 a regular meeting of expert (working) groups on railway transport and communications of the sides was held in the office of the OSCE Mission in Bendery. The Moldovan side gave its consent to the meeting of experts after a month's break in the discussions where the consideration of Pridnestrovie’s comprehensive proposals, prepared at the level of the MFA of the PMR, the State Customs Committee of the PMR, and the state unitary enterprise “Pridnestrovian Railway” started.
The meeting held detailed conversation, during which the sides shared their views on the prospects for cooperation in the field of rail transport, including relevant logistics, tariff and customs aspects.
Following the meeting, the experts did not come to a common understanding of the situation and agreed to continue consultations.
