Meeting between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev and delegation of the Republic of South Ossetia took place in the PMR's MFA. Delegation included First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Kazbulat Tskhovrebov, Head of the Official Representation (Embassy) of the Republic of South Ossetia in Pridnestrovie Sergei Surago and Head of Department of the MFA of South Ossetia Sergei Tadtayev. Representatives of the Council of Young Diplomats of the PMR's MFA also took part in the meeting.
During the dialogue the parties discussed possibilities of development of bilateral cooperation in sphere of youth policy. Kazbulat Tskhovrebov proposed to extend cooperation in framework of Association of Young Diplomats of the Community for Democracy and Rights of Nations which was established on June 30, 2010. He invited Pridnestrovian youth to get new experience and improve qualification in the foreign-political agency of South Ossetia.
Education and activation of academic work of youth remains main profile of work of the Council of Young Diplomats. During the meeting comprehensive dialogue took place on issues of education and improvement of professional skills in educational and academic institutions of Russia's MFA. Vitaly Ignatiev noted that leadership of the PMR's MFA realizes the necessity of preparation of highly qualified staff and makes efforts in order to create optimal conditions for young people. He pointed out that these efforts meet understanding of Russian colleagues and that this fact allowed to organize practical trainings of Pridnestrovian diplomats in the central office of the Russia's MFA.
During the meeting interlocutors touched the issues of Eurasian integration of Pridnestrovie. “We should be realists. We can see that the path of European integration, which used to be so popular in neighboring Moldova, brings rather delusive perspectives and questionable benefits. Pridnestrovie keeps continuity of its foreign policy and we believe that only course on the Eurasian integration of Pridnestrovie corresponds to the Russian vector of development which was fortified during national referendum of September 17, 2006”, – Vitaly Ignatiev noted. Diplomat pointed out that representatives of the Council of Young Diplomats are to participate in study and development of ways of Eurasian integration. Chairman of the Council Vladimir Okushko informed that members of the Council prepared number of proposals and that many of the results of young diplomats' work are included in draft of the new Foreign Policy Concept of Pridnestrovie. This concept is to consolidate foreign political course of the state according to the will of the people and current integration processes.
Kazbulat Tskhovrebov also noted the promising outlook of participation of South Ossetia in Eurasian projects. He expressed his hope that the Republic of South Ossetia soon shall become full member of these integration processes.
During the meeting young Pridnestrovian diplomats communicated with members of South Ossetia's delegation. Many issues which were discussed touched upon the themes of practical ways of improvement of professional level of young people and other ways of communication with their colleagues in South Ossetia. Interlocutors expressed their opinion that cooperation between foreign-political agencies of fraternal states in field of youth politics should have regular basis and the information technologies should be used to reach this goal.
