On September 13, 2010, Foreign Minister of the PMR Vladimir Yastrebchak received the Head of the European Union Delegation to Moldova, Dirk Shuebel.
In the course of the meeting, the sides discussed the preparation for the Second Pridnestrovian Investment Forum which will be held in Tiraspol on September 16-17, 2010, and also the visit to Pridnestrovie of the Working Party on Eastern Europe and Central Asia (COEST) of the EU Council of Ministers planned for September 16.
Dirk Shuebel informed the Pridnestrovian side that the EU, continuing its efforts in Pridnestrovie along current projects in health care dimension, is at the same time looking into the possibility to bring forward a number of new humanitarian initiatives.
During the meeting, Vladimir Yastrebchak and Dirk Shuebel also shared views on the previously scheduled events involving political representatives of the sides, guarantor countries, mediators and observers of the Permanent Consultations on Political Issues in the Framework of the Pridnestrovian Settlement Negotiation Process.
