November 23, 2015, the meeting of expert (working) groups on railway communication was held in the office of the OSCE Mission in Bendery at the Pridnestrovian side’s invitation sent in the development of the previous meeting.
During the meeting, the participants continued the discussion on the refusal of the regional railways of Ukraine to approve the movement of goods imported by Pridnestrovian economic entities to the station “Slobodka- export” provoked by numerous unilateral appeals of the State Enterprise “Railway of Moldova”.
Pridnestrovian representatives called on the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine again not to block the shipment of cargo to the station “Slobodka-export” and not to create additional burdens for some enterprises of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
It must be stated with the concern that in the course of the meeting Ukraine and Moldova’s representatives did not show readiness to review unilateral measures taken previously.
It is expected that the discussion at the level of specialized professionals on rail transport will continue.
