Chairperson of the government of the PMR Tatiana Turanskaya, Deputy Chairperson of the Government of the PMR for International Cooperation, Foreign Minister Nina Shtanski, as well as Minister of Economic Development of the PMR Vladimir Artiomenko met with the leadership of the Liberal Democratic Party of Belarus.Tatiana Turanskaya noted that Pridnestrovie, as well as Belarus, is a part of the Russian world, because we have common cultural, spiritual and national values. The integration to the Eurasian space is a national idea for our republic.First Deputy Chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party of Belarus Oleg Gaidukevich said, in his turn, that the relationship between the people of Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Belarus have always developed in a friendly manner. "Within our visit, we would like to note that, despite the difficult foreign economic and political situation in Pridnestrovie, we noticed cohesion and unity between the people and the authorities. In these difficult circumstances, all branches of the government do a lot not only to maintain stability in the country, but also to develop it. As the representatives of the Republic of Belarus, we are witnessing here the enormous potential for the development of trade and economic cooperation "- said Oleg Gaidukevich. During the meeting the guest also emphasized the inadmissibility of pressure on Pridnestrovie, in particular regarding the economy. "We are closely monitoring the situation in Pridnestrovie, and believe that sanctions and pressure can not be tools to solve problems. Economy should not be politicized, and the will of the people living in Pridnestrovie should have primacy", - he said.The interlocutors discussed the possibility to enhance the interaction between the business communities of Belarus and Pridnestrovie. According to the participants, the potential for cooperation between the two countries is quite high, and it is necessary to make efforts to fill it with concrete projects.Summing up the meeting, Deputy Chairperson of the Government of the PMR for International Cooperation - Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Nina Shtanski noted that today the bilateral cooperation between Belarus and Pridnestrovie has the potential to develop in many directions. "Pridnestrovie and Belarus have traditionally friendly relations. Today, the potential of development of our trade and economic cooperation is greatly being extended because of the Eurasian basics uniting us. The initiatives in the field of science and culture, youth policy and in information sphere seem also promising"- said the diplomat.
