Alexander Stetsiuk met with the Human Rights Adviser-UN Resident Coordinator in Moldova Bea Ferenci and the National Coordinator of the UN High Commissioner Office.
Greeting the guests, Alexander Stetsiuk stated that development of collaboration with the UN is one of the main priority of the Pridnestrovian foreign policy. As he said, the activity of ON entities in the Republic is focused on the social and humanitarian sphere and has a practical orientation.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the implementation perspectives in Pridnestrovie of the UN Human Rights Program based on the recommendations of the UN Senior Human Rights Expert Thomas Hammarberg. A whole range of events has been developed within the program framework, based on the positive experience of cooperation with UN agencies taking into account the needs and recommendations for the Pridnestrovian side.
