Representatives of Pridnestrovie and Moldova on political issues Vitaly Ignatiev and Gheorghe Balan will meet for the first time in five months at the initiative of the Pridnestrovian side at the OSCE office in Kishinev on March 3, 2016.
The meeting plans to discuss a wide array of problematic aspects in the negotiations ongoing between Pridnestrovie and Moldova which have long been neglected at the meetings in different formats because the Moldovan side avoided talking to Pridnestrovie.
At the upcoming meeting in the 1+1 format the Pridnestrovian side intends to raise a set of topical issues on rail freight communication, possible ways of resolving the matter on politically motivated criminal cases opened in the Republic of Moldova against Pridnestrovians, as well as the need to cease the practice to put pressure on officials and citizens of Pridnestrovie in Kishinev airport.
Pridnestrovie also expects to identify together with RM representatives practical ways of establishing cooperation in the areas of transport, education, and mutual recognition of documents issued by the competent authorities of the sides.
