On July 1, 2011 Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Pridnestrovien Moldavian Republic celebrated its 19th anniversary. The members of the Union of Artists of PMR Yuriy Salko and Viktor Postoykin made a visit to Ministry in order to congratulate the staff of the foreign office.
PMR's Honoured Artist Yuriy Salko marked active participation of PMR's MFA in the organization of the plein air painting, exhibitions and meetings of the artists on the territory of the republic and abroad. He thanked the leaders of the foreign office for the assistance in widening of the contacts of Pridnestrovien artists with their Russian, Ukrainian and other foreign colleagues in the framework of MFA's agreement with international project KAMART. According to Yuriy Salko, exhibitions of artworks, exchange of experience, creative plans broaden Pridnestrovien friendship network, promote the creation of positive public image of the country.
Viktor Postoykin presented one of his paintings to PMR's Foreign Minister. Vladimir Yastrebchak promised that it will with dignity represent the work of Pridnestrovien artists during periodic exhibitions in PMR's MFA.
