President of Pridnestrovie met with Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill

His Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill hosted the President of the PMR. The meeting took place in the Patriarchal and Synodal residence in the Danilov Monastery in Moscow today.

During the conversation His Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill shared his memories of a visit to Pridnestrovie in September 2013. “I warmly remember my stay in the hospitable Pridnestrovian land, services, remarkable communication with people, with you, with your colleagues, with the Archbishop, - said the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church. ­– I do not forget a meeting with people of Tiraspol. All this did not just formally keep in the memory, but it became a cordial page in my biography. Therefore I would like to wish the Pridnestrovian land, people and, of course, you God's help.”

The President of Pridnestrovie expressed gratitude to His Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill for the meeting. “Our citizens warmly remember this visit and how you addressed with love to all Pridnestrovians, being here in Tiraspol,” - said the President.

Yevgeny Shevchuk thanked Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill for the attention which the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church paid to Tiraspol-Dubossary Diocese.

Taking part in the meeting were Archbishop Savva of Tiraspol-Dubossary Diocese and Special representative of the President of the PMR for cooperation with authorities of the Russian Federation Oleg Segal.
