Vitaly Ignatiev meets with representatives of the leadership of Rossotrudnichestvo

The event was held during the visit of the Head of the Foreign Ministry of Pridnestrovie to the capital of the Russian Federation

Today in Moscow a meeting was held between Acting Foreign Minister of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev with Deputy Head of Rossotrudnichestvo Alexandr Radkov and Deputy Head of Rossotrudnichestvo Department of Compatriots and Public Diplomacy Vyacheslav Pugachev.

During the meeting the sides discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation. Particular emphasis was placed on the aspects of protection of the rights and interests of Russian citizens and compatriots in Pridnestrovie. Vitaly Ignatyev told Russian colleagues about some measures of pressure and restrictive actions taken by Moldova, which directly violates the rights of Pridnestrovians. In particular, the diplomat stressed the problem of politically motivated criminal cases initiated in the RM against the citizens of Pridnestrovie, as well as the discriminatory actions of Moldova in the field of freedom of movement of Pridnestrovians, including in the context of deportations of Russian citizens permanently residing in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic from Kishinev airport.

The meeting also discussed the ways and mechanisms of activation of the cultural, social and humanitarian cooperation of Pridnestrovie and the Russian Federation. Special attention was paid to the prospects for opening of the Russian Centre for Science and Culture in Tiraspol.

At the end of the meeting the sides agreed to continue direct systemic cooperation on a wide range of issues.
