Today, upon an initiative of the Abkhazian side Foreign Minister of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev had a telephone conversation with Foreign Minister of the Republic of Abkhazia Daur Kove.
During the discussion Vitaly Ignatiev wished the Abkhazian counterpart success and professional achievements in his responsible post in the context of the recent appointment of Daur Kove to the post of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia.
As part of the dialogue the parties confirmed their readiness to carry out the signing of the pre-agreed intergovernmental agreements on visa-free regime between Pridnestrovie and Abkhazia, as well as on the mutual recognition of education certificates before the end of the month.
In addition, the sides agreed on the need to intensify bilateral cooperation in a number of important areas of mutual interest. In particular, the Foreign Ministers agreed to continue working on optimal mechanisms of interaction taking into consideration objective barriers associated with the unilateral actions by the Republic of Moldova to limit international contacts of Pridnestrovie.
