On November 26, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Pridnestrovien Moldavian Republic hosted the meeting between the Pridnestrovien Foreign Minister, Vladimir Yastrebchak, and Deputy Head of the British Embassy in the Republic of Moldova, John Mitchell.
In the course of the conversation the interlocutors discussed the outcomes of the Odessa workshop devoted to the EU free trade regime and attracting of investments for business development involving economic authorities and representatives of the enterprises of the Republic of Moldova and Pridnestrovie, the results of the OSCE conference in Garmisch for the heads of expert groups of the RM and Pridnestrovie, as well as of informal consultations of the five plus two format in Kiev.
Also, the participants of the meeting devoted attention to the situation on the eve of the Parliamentary elections in the RM to be held on 28 November in the context of its influence on the negotiation process, as well as to the outcomes of the Kazakh Chairmanship in the OSCE in light of the forthcoming OSCE summit in Astana on 1-2 December.
The interlocutors highly appreciated the results of the Odessa workshop held on 5-6 November and coincided in the opinion that there is need for the given work to be continued.
