According to press service of the President of the PMR, today the President of Pridnestrovie Yevgeny Shevchuk met with the heads of two Duma factions – LDPR and CPRF. The exchange of opinions with Vladimir Zhirinovsky and Gennady Ziuganov took place at the State Duma of the Russian Federation.
Within the framework of the past meetings topical issues concerning socio-economical condition of Russian citizens living in Pridnestrovie and of the compatriots were discussed.
Yevgeny Shevchuk described in details the situation in the Republic, which remains to be rather complicated. The press service of the Central Committee of the CPRF reports, that Gennady Ziuganov “promised to render the Pridnestrovians all possible assistance.” “He emphasized, that the questions which concern the support of Pridnestrovie, are regularly put by the communists at all the echelons of power,” the statement published on the official site of the CPRF reads.
