Today meeting of Deputy Prime Minister of the PMR on International Cooperation, Minister of Foreign Affairs Nina Shtanski with Director of the Office of Ukraine, Moldova and Belarus Affairs of the US State Department Baxter Hunt took place in the foreign-political agency of Pridnestrovie. The meeting was held upon an initiative of US side. In the meeting also took part Head of Political and Economic Section of the Embassy of the USA in Moldova Gregory Winstead, Political Officer of the US Embassy in Moldova Alexandru Flenchea, Deputy Foreign Minister of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev and Chief of Department for Far Abroad Countries and International Organizations Alexander Khonitsky.
The sides discussed number of aspects dealing with issues of bilateral cooperation between Pridnestrovie and the USA. During the meting the sides also exchanged their views on current situation in Moldova-Pridnestrovie settlement process.
Other issues of mutual interest have also been discussed.
