Today the MFA of Pridnestrovie hosted a meeting between Deputy Foreign Minister of the PMR Igor Shornikov and the Delegation of the Ministry of the Russian Federation for Affairs of Civil Defence, Emergencies and Disaster Relief (MES of Russia) headed by Andrey Legoshin, the Deputy Director of the Department of fire and rescue forces, special fire protection and civil defence forces.
Within the Russian delegation arrived Sergey Okorokov, a leading specialist expert of the office of International Cooperation Department, and Vladimir Saranyuk, Counselor of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Moldova. As representatives of the Pridnestrovian side, the meeting attended the Head of State Administration of Rybnitsa District and the City of Rybnitsa Alla Demyanova and Deputy Head of the State Administration of Rybnitsa District and the City of Rybnitsa for construction Sergey Kostyuk.
During the meeting the sides discussed a number of operational issues, concerning the organization of dismantling of aerial cableway across the river Dniester in the area of cities Rybnitsa (Pridnestrovie) and Rezina (Moldova). Igor Shornikov thanked the delegation of MES of Russia for their considerable preparatory work, including ensuring the safety of residents.
