Today, on the Pridnestrovian side’s initiative the regular meeting of expert (working) groups on the development of transport and road facilities took place on December 22, 2015 in the office of the OSCE Mission in Kishinev.
During the meeting the sides discussed issues related to passenger transportation carried out on existing regular routes by the Pridnestrovian transport companies. The sides agreed to appoint their authorized representatives, responsible for operational communications in the event of any problems when performing regular routes by transport companies of Pridnestrovie and Moldova.
The meeting also discussed in detail the aspects related to the need to ensure the full participation of the Pridnestrovian transport in international traffic, including international cargo-passenger transportation and movement of private cars. The Pridnestrovian side told about its readiness to work on a draft agreement aimed at resolving all set of problematic aspects in this area, which would include the previously reached agreements and existing groundwork of the parties and international partners.
On the initiative of the Moldovan side it was raised a question regarding the prospects for cooperation between Pridnestrovie and Moldova in the application of international agreement in the field of insurance “Green Card”.
The sides agreed to hold the next meeting at the beginning of 2016.
