The Small Hall of the Palace of the Republic (Tiraspol) held a solemn presentation of publications devoted to the 25th anniversary of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. The event was attended by Acting Head of the Office of the Government of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, Head of the Main Department for Information and Protocol Natalia Kolesnichenko, Head of the State Service for Culture Maria Kyrmyz, Pridnestrovian writers and journalists, as well as representatives of the public.
More than 200 new publications on different topics, with various functions and in different languages were presented during the event.
The representative of the Foreign Minister of the PMR, Adviser to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vera Tabak presented a number of new publications of the PMR’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which reflect the cultural richness, beauty and unique historical heritage of the region.
Among the books commissioned by the Foreign Ministry are the photo album “On the banks of the free Dniester”, work by the Pridnestrovian historian Nikolai Babilunga “Pridnestrovie: the footsteps of history”, photo album by Natalia Egorova “Pridnestrovian State Art Museum”, the book “Museums of Pridnestrovie” edited by the authors-compilers Marina Kashleva and Alla Melnichuk and a number of other publications.
The educational and methodical literature published for the schools of the republic by the Ministry of Education of the PMR, historical and scientific journals by the Writers’ Union of the PMR, analytical and informative publications by institutions and public services of the republic were also presented at the event.
Special gratitude for the work was expressed to the Bendery printing house “Polygrafist”.
