Today, Minister of Foreign Affairs Nina Shtanski held the meeting with the delegation of the UNICEF Country Office in the Republic of Moldova headed by social policy program coordinator Sergey Burulane. Participating in the meeting was also monitoring and evaluation coordinator Elena Laur.
The main purpose of the visit of the UNICEF delegation is to discuss perspectives for the carrying out of a survey to collect statistic data to assess position of children and women in the sphere of healthcare, education, and fight against AIDS. This survey, according to Sergey Burulane, will make it possible to define feasibility of various social projects' implementation in Pridnestrovie designed to improve the well-being of children and women.
In the course of the conversation, other issues relating to perspectives of further interaction were discussed.
