The event was attended by Acting Head of the Office of the Government of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, Head of the Main Department for Information and Protocol Natalia Kolesnichenko, Head of the State Service for Culture Maria Kyrmyz, Pridnestrovian writers and journalists, as well as representatives of the public.

President of Pridnestrovie Yevgeny Shevchuk held a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Moldova Farit Mukhametshin. They discussed aspects of Russian-Pridnestrovian cooperation on a number of directions. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister for International Cooperation - Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Nina Shtanski.

Nina Shtanski called Moldova’s new sanctions against Pridnestrovian car owners as “an own goal”

She said on her Facebook page that this news was a “wake-up call”. According to her, the introduction of a ban on movement across the RM’s border for vehicles with Pridnestrovian registration is not a new invention of the Moldovan side.
