On August 4, 2011 PMR's Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Malyarchuk met with Authorized Representative of the Republic of Abkhazia in the Pridnestrovien Moldavian Republic Alexander Vataman.
Diplomats discussed the condition of bilateral relations of Abkhazia and Pridnestrovie and confirmed the intention to proceed constructive work on strengthening and developing the cooperation of two states.
The issues, connected with forthcoming presidential elections in Abkhazia and Pridnestrovie. Interlocutors marked the necessity of observance of principles of democracy and civil liberties during the period of elections, were touched upon during the meeting. Alexander Malyarchuk and Alexander Vataman confirmed, that it is obligatory to observe international standards in election process.
