On July 19, 2011 PMR's Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Simonenko received at PMR's foreign office the Head of EU Delegation in Moldova Dirk Shuebel.
During the meeting diplomats exchanged their opinions on current situation in the process of normalization of relations between the Republic of Moldova and the Pridnestrovien Moldavian Republic. The sides particularly discussed the prospects of restoration of fixed phone connection and full-fledged cargo rail service through Pridnestrovien territory. The participants also considered a number of mutually interesting projects in humanitarian, scientific, and educational spheres.
Deputy Pridnestrovien Foreign Minister Sergey Simonenko drew the attention of European diplomat to the necessity of compliance with the principles of equality of the sides in negotiation process.
