After a nine months’ pause, the OSCE Mission Office in Tiraspol hosted a meeting of relevant experts, initiated by the Pridnestrovian side, to discuss the issues of medicine imports to Pridnestrovie in the context of the joint customs and border control of Moldova and Ukraine at the Kuchurgan checkpoint.
During the meeting, the Pridnestrovian side addressed once again its approaches to ensuring solid supply of medicines to the PMR based on the historical system and the needs of the Pridnestrovian pharmacological market and patients.
The parties had a detailed discussion regarding possible options of interaction between the parties to keep the access of the PMR’s population to the widest possible range of medicines.
The sides agreed to continue discussions in the near future.
